Most global businesses still piece together several banks, FX providers and spreadsheets to move money. Caliza replaces that with one platform and API: hold USD accounts, collect and pay in 33+ currencies, and convert between fiat and stablecoins, over local rails, SWIFT or stablecoins, in minutes instead of days. We are hiring across engineering, compliance, sales and customer success in the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and you will build the process that brings those people in and sets them up to succeed. You will partner with every leader on the team and lay the foundation for people operations as we grow.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn full-cycle recruiting across every team: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, references and closing.\nRun Lever: job postings, pipelines, scorecards, reporting and hiring manager workflows.\nPartner with hiring managers to define each role, build structured interview loops and hold a consistent hiring bar.\nSource directly for hard-to-fill roles, including regulated compliance and licensing roles and regional sales roles in new markets.\nManage offers within approved compensation bands, working with Finance on approvals.\nCoordinate onboarding and offboarding: documentation, equipment, system access and first-week plans.\nWork with Risk and Compliance on employment agreements, contractor classification, background checks and hiring across jurisdictions, including through employer-of-record providers.\nBuild the basics of people operations as we scale: HR systems, policies, onboarding playbooks and employee records.\nReport weekly to the leadership team on pipeline health and progress against the hiring plan.\nWhat you’ll bring\n4+ years of in-house recruiting at a high-growth startup. Fintech, payments or other regulated industries are a plus.\nA track record of hiring across several countries, including Latin America.\nExperience closing senior and technical candidates.\nHands-on experience with an applicant tracking system, Lever preferred.\nThe organization to run 10+ open roles at once while keeping every candidate informed.\nProfessional working fluency in English. Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.\nAbility to work hours that overlap with US Eastern and Brazil time zones.\nNice to have\nExperience setting up people operations at an early-stage company.\nFamiliarity with employer-of-record providers such as Deel, Remote or Oyster.\nExperience recruiting in Africa or Asia.\nExperience using AI tools for sourcing, screening or interview scheduling.\nBenefits\nBenefits vary by country of employment and may include health coverage, paid time off and holidays, a home office or equipment allowance, a professional development budget, and in-person team offsites.
