For more information, please visit https://www.callawaygolf.com\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWorks closely with the operations team to support strategic sourcing projects.\nManages the sourcing deals, contracts, delivery, and quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L level and ensuring on time delivery with the suppliers.\nEnsures the complete follow through of project supports from managing the product/supplier sourcing to execution to supplier delivery and quality.\nIdentifies opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving.\nDevelops best practice processes and works together with Finance and IT to enhance the ERP set up.\nWorks with product teams for identification of strategic suppliers and evaluates vendor reliability.\nReviews and negotiates supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions.\nOrganize and execute regular supplier site evaluations and audits.\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):\nAbility to manage sub-contract suppliers, with high volume/value fabricated parts/component contracts in both foreign and domestic markets.\nAbility to manage long lead-time product deliveries in support of production.\nWorking knowledge of assembly & manufacturing processes.\nThorough knowledge of Purchasing Law and Uniform Commercial Code.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and negotiating skills.\nExcellent communication skills, written & verbal.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.\nThorough understanding of financial impact of decisions.\nDemonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance, and continuous improvement.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.\nMinimum 5 years related experience and/or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.\nPurchasing in a Manufacturing/Engineered Product environment.\nInterfacing with manufacturing engineering and program management teams.\nExperience in executing Global Supply Chain initiatives & strategic planning.\nDISCLAIMER\nThis job description indicates in general terms, the type and level of work performed as well as the typical responsibilities of employees in this classification and it may be changed by management at any time.
