SALT Service Co. is an expanding organization dedicated to delivering efficient and effective solutions to its clientele.\nWe are looking for an HVAC Service Manager who will play a crucial role in achieving the company’s strategic objectives and annual goals by delivering exceptional electrical services aligned with Salt’s vision, purpose, and core values.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nMentor and guide team leads to achieve desired performance metrics.\nConduct weekly mentoring sessions with team leads on performance metrics.\nEnsure team leads meet job performance standards, complying with appropriate codes and ensuring customer satisfaction.\nConduct weekly inspections of trucks, auditing paperwork, and service call checklists.\nOversee the management of inventory for service calls by service technicians.\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure effective and complete job objectives.\nProvide support to team leads in troubleshooting issues as needed.\nBe accountable for department performance and progress toward company goals.\nLead the interview and selection process for team leads, technicians, and apprentice candidates.\nManage department performance metrics, including average invoice total, callback ratios, and labor margins.\nTrain, coach, and mentor team leaders, technicians, and apprentices.\nInvestigate reported safety issues and ensure compliance with safety protocols.\nResolve issues involving missing and/or damaged tools and any vehicle malfunctions.\nCommunicate and promote the benefits of Club Membership to customers.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.\nMinimum of four years' experience (preferred, but not required) in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving diverse HVAC issues.\nValid driver’s license with approval from SALT’s insurance carrier.\nOrganized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.\nAnalytical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.\nExcellent customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.\nTeam-oriented with the ability to effectively lead a team to positive outcomes.\nProficient in using a computer tablet, smartphone, and reading maps or following GPS.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe majority of time is spent in the office addressing problems and administrative needs.\nOccasional work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions.\nIn the field, may involve climbing ladders and steep stairs, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.\nAbility to lift 50 pounds and occasionally work from heights up to 15 feet above ground.\nGood visual acuity.\nPOSITION SPECIFIC STANDARDS:\nWillingness to attend training courses to advance skills.\nAvailability to work outside normal hours if needed.\nAvailable for team support by phone, as needed 24/7.\nMaintain confidentiality on all private, sensitive, and proprietary business issues.\nSCHEDULE:\n Availability to work Monday- Friday anywhere between 7:00AM-4:30pm (or until daily task are complete)\nSALARY:\nCompetitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $130,000 annually (with bonus opportunity)\nRate based on experience and knowledge.\nBENEFITS:\nCompetitive compensation and opportunities for performance-based incentives.\nStructured training programs and mentorship.\nHealth insurance, dental coverage, life insurance, and retirement savings options.\nPaid holidays and vacation time.\nFamily & friends discount.\nGift card giveaways, company-sponsored trips (performance based).\nOpportunities for career advancement within the company.\nA positive and inclusive work culture that values your contribution.\nOpen-door policy.\nFamily owned & operated\n The initial form of communication for this role will be via email.
