As a Prime Government Contractor for Government Publishing Office (GPO), we are currently searching for a talentedSenior OracleDatabase Administratorin Washington, DC.
About the Job
This position requires creating and managing standalone Oracledatabases proficiently. Also, this position requires the ability to identify and triage issues, perform server maintenance, execute software installations and patching, maintain High Availability (HA) systems and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols. Need to have the ability to work independently, collaborate within and across division teams, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.

- Provisioning &Config: Defines standards & golden configs
- Backup/Restore: Governs strategy & drills
- Patching: Sets cadence & risk controls
- Performance Tuning: Internals/optimizer/storage tuning
- High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR): Architects multi-region DR
- Monitoring & Alerting: Define SLOs & unified taxonomy
- Security & Compliance: Owns policy & audits
- Scripting & Automation: Standards & governance
- Incident Management: Incident command & prevention
Required Skills
- U.S Citizenship
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Oracle.
- Professional Oraclecertifications required
- Experience in: MariaDB, Oracle, Oracle Grid, Oracle RMAN and MS Access.
