Ensure accurate payment is collected for service parts and labor through our Point-of-Sale System.\nOrganize and maintain accurate, detailed, and timely daily service schedules and records.\nComprehensive knowledge of all products sold in the hearth department.\nMaintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.\nComplete and maintain all assigned training courses.\nVisit and provide service in-store as needed.\nEnsure HHT Warranty claims are filed in a timely manner, through HHT and POS system. Review claims and address any concerns, questions, or denials from HHT.\nProficient and safe use of all required and applicable diagnostic equipment.\nMaintain service parts inventory and restock when appropriate.\nAssist in daily functions of the hearth department as necessary, including department coverage when necessary.\nAssist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.\nMaintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.\nAssist customers throughout their entire hearth appliance, venting, and accessories purchase.\nProvide excellent customer service and support during customer home visits.\nManage all diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance as needed on all hearth products.\nOrganize and maintain accurate daily service schedules with customers.\nOperate company vehicle safely in accordance with company policy.\nOther Duties and Responsibilities\nHelp in other departments when needed.\nPerform daily cleaning - such as, but not limited to, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.\nOther duties assigned as needed.\nQualifications\nFamiliar with gas, pellet, and wood burning hearth appliances.\nAbility to obtain and possess driver’s license and insurance.\nProven written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nAbility to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.\nFamiliar with how to operate a computer system and email.\nExperience using Microsoft Office and Excel.\nExperience with using diagnostic tools.\nPrevious hearth experience is preferred.\nNotice of AI Use in Job Application Review\nAs part of our commitment in creating a fair, efficient, and consistent hiring process we may use artificial intelligence (AI) to help our recruiting teams organize, summarize, and analyze information provided by candidates, including resumes, application responses, and other materials submitted during the application process.AI may be used to identify patterns, highlight relevant skills, and experience, and assist in comparing a candidate’s qualifications with the requirement of a specific role.
