The role requires expertise in Python-based test automation, Layer 1/Layer 2 networking, IXIA traffic generation, and close collaboration with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nTest Automation & Validation:\n\n- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Python.\n\n- Perform Functional, Regression, and Performance Testing on Layer 1 and Layer 2 network systems.\n\n- Design and enhance automation frameworks for product validation.\n\n- Debug and resolve issues in complex networking environments.\n\nNetworking & System Validation:\n\n- Validate hardware and software integration with optical interfaces, transceivers, and network switches.\n\n- Configure and operate traffic generators such as IXIA to simulate real-world network environments.\n\n- Verify Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking functionality, performance, and reliability.\n\nManufacturing Test Automation:\n\n- Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop test software for high-volume optical component manufacturing.\n\n- Own manufacturing test scripts, including creation, maintenance, and change management.\n\n- Improve manufacturing yield, efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.\n\nData & Systems Integration:\n\n- Collaborate with Software, IT, and Database teams to develop scalable manufacturing test data solutions for test data collection, logging, analysis, and reporting.\n\nQuality Processes:\n\n- Document test cases, execution results, and defects.\n\n- Maintain test assets in version control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nEducation:\n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.\n\nExperience:\n\n- 4 -
