Work with the local BNSF yard to maintain our switches in a timely and accurate fashion. Work with external customers for shipping/receiving purposes and forward completed BOL’s as necessary, and to maintain customer relations to continue smooth movement of product. This role also requires working and communicating with different departments on a daily basis. This role typically works 6 AM – 4 PM and requires weekends and rotating holidays to be worked.\n\nKEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDaily Operations\nRequest daily trains and assign products for railcars entering & leaving the plant\nBill railcars accurately and efficiently after loading or unloading twice daily.\nMaintain Scheduling and coordination tools daily with all loaded, unloaded, and stored railcar activities\nManage customer constraints and requests when specific to loading\nCommunicate as needed with rail loading crews & lab for updates, provide lists for feedstocks, and incoming empty cars to the plant.\nAssist with creating Propane & NaHS truck BOLs, ticket all finalized Propane truck Shipments, maintain record of all NaHS truck shipments, and email copies of BOLs to customers. \nSend end-of-day rail reports & capture daily metrics.\n\nManaging Pipeline\nTrack and trace all shipments made to verify destination and waybill information is accurate.\nTrack and trace release line from loaders to verify all cars will be picked up by BNSF\nManage car counts in plant to help minimize demurrage & CP counts in the Great Falls yard.\nTarget order inbound cars expected to arrive before midnight to minimize demurrage.\n\nMaintaining Customer Communications\nEnsure accurate responses to customer inquiries\nProvide timely responses to requests for information or copies of BOLs\nManage BOL email distribution lists in SAP\nCommunicate with Key partners/customers regularly to maintain strong relationships (TDC/BNSF)\n\nMaintaining Records\nUpdate loaded inbound status and verify products on BOL’s prior to spotting. \nOrganize and file all shipment records.\nUpdate feedstock storage sheets.\nWork weekly with Yield accounting to ensure W-tanks are accurate and up to date.\nManage all no-shows, unavailable, extra cars, and pipeline misses daily.\nVerify railcar numbers & dates on detention & storage invoices and maintain records of invoice data.\nManage prior product records in Master.\nMark up and notify of bad orders daily for Senior coordinator.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:\nHigh school diploma or High School Equivalent required.\n\nPREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:\nAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.\nThree years transportation/logistics experience preferred.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\nHigh proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel and web-based systems.\nMust possess excellent organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a competitive team environment \nHigh level of attention to detail\nSelf-motivated and detail oriented.\nMust be able to multi-task in a busy environment and adapt to changing priorities.\nExperience using SAP software a plus.\nExperience
