Healthcare is so broken, it's depressing if you don't laugh with us.\nAbout The Role\nWe're looking for mission-driven medical billers who care about creating positive impact, love solving challenging problems, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person will help focus on payment posting remits to our system.\nWhat you'll do:\nAnalyze EOBs and post manual payments\n\nIdentify payers with payment posting issues\n\nAccurately correct payment posting errors\n\nInvestigate claims with payment discrepancies, denials, missing payments, or processing issues\n\nResearch payer portals to determine claim status, identify root causes of payment delays\n\nContact commercial insurance carriers and government payers via phone to investigate delayed, pending, or unpaid claims\n\nMonitor payer trends and identify recurring issues impacting payment accuracy or turnaround times\n\nDocument all payment-related activities and communications thoroughly and accurately\n\nCollaborate live with your team and cross-functional partners, including participating in Zoom meetings. Camber has a camera-on policy and culture, so team members are expected to be on camera during live meetings.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n2+ years experience with revenue cycle management and billing for commercial and Medicaid plans (especially in the autism space) with payment posting\n\nAbility to interpret EOBs, ERAs, claim statuses, and insurance payment information.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively\n\nExperience working with all commercial and government payor portals\n\nKnowledge of the denials, and corrections\n\nThis role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality\n\nCamber is based in New York City, and we prioritize in-person and hybrid candidates.
