We are proud of having cities like Oslo, London, Washington, Singapore, and Sydney among our clients.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Procurement and Logistics Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient and cost-effective procurement and logistics function across Cambi's projects and business operations, delivering commercial value through effective sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations. You will manage hands-on procurement activities from sourcing and supplier negotiations through to contract award, purchase orders, logistics and delivery, including coordination of customs and tax clearances. You will also supports the development of procurement strategy, supplier performance and collaboration with the UK procurement function.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead procurement activities for projects, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders and contract award.\n\nExecute the procurement of goods and services in line with company procedures, project requirements and procurement best practice.\n\nAct as the primary procurement contact for internal stakeholders.\n\nDevelop and maintain supplier relationships, framework agreements and commercial contracts to achieve best value.\n\nManage supplier performance, deliveries, documentation, contract compliance and continuous improvement.\n\nCoordinate international logistics with suppliers, freight forwarders and project teams, including shipment planning, transport bookings, shipping documentation and delivery tracking.\n\nCoordinate customs and tax clearances, import/export documentation and related duty and VAT matters with Finance, customs brokers and external advisers; follow up outstanding requirements and escalate specialist questions.\n\nLead the development and implementation of Cambi's procurement strategy, including supplier selection, sourcing and cost optimisation.\n\nMonitor procurement and logistics costs, budgets, risks and KPIs to support effective project delivery.\n\nMaintain procurement documentation and contract records in accordance with legal and company requirements.\n\nCollaborate with the UK procurement team to align procurement processes, supplier strategies and commercial terms.\n\nPromote sustainable, secure and resilient sourcing practices.\n\nWe are looking for\nA hands-on, resourceful doer who takes initiative, follows through and gets things done.\n\nCommercially minded with strong negotiation and influencing skills.\n\nProactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nSound judgement and decision-making in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.\n\nCollaborative and flexible with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.\n\nHigh level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.\n\nCurious and motivated to learn, with the potential to take on broader responsibilities over time.\n\nKey qualifications and requirements\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration, Industrial Economics and Technology Management, Engineering Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. Relevant practical experience may compensate for formal qualifications.\n\nRelevant hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain and logistics, ideally in a project-based industrial environment.\n\nPractical experience with purchasing, supplier follow-up and commercial negotiations.\n\nStrong commercial and financial understanding, including contract and cost management.\n\nExperience with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Excel.\n\nExperience working in a multinational organisation is an advantage.\n\nAt Cambi, we value people who share our commitment to the environment and the positive impact of the circular economy.
