This will require an individual who is highly detail oriented as well as has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. You'll work to refine and shape high-quality quartz stone with a strong commitment to safety and quality.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nReading blueprints, loading raw materials, supervising the automated cutting process, and performing quality inspections to ensure all quartz stone meet exact design specifications and tolerances\nLoad and edit machine programs\nSetup, operate, monitor and maintain CNC machine in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nOperate an overhead crane or vacuum lift throughout your shift to place slab partials on CNC table\nComplete daily safety inspections of all equipment before use\nOrganize, maintain and keep work area free of clutter \nPerform job duties safely as outlined in Cambria Core Safety Rules\nVisually inspect CNC equipment and tooling consistently for proper functionality\nRead; analyze and interpret technical procedures for machine\nUse measuring equipment and verify each part before and after machining\nCommunicate and troubleshoot within your area and between other areas of the shop as needed to leadership\nCross-train on multiple types of equipment\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management\nQualifications and Skills:\nAbility to follow technical drawings and specifications with precision to ensure high-quality output.\nCommitted to maintaining high production standards and adhering to company quality control procedures.\nStrong aptitude of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.\nAbility to use basic measuring equipment\nBasic computer, match and critical thinking skills\nMinimum Requirements:\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.\nExperience:\n1-2+ years in machining is preferred but not required\nPost-secondary education in machining preferred\nSystems: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD is preferred.\nCambria Success Factors:\nHigh attention to detail\nReliable and punctual \nDirect communication\nSense of urgency in completing work \nCapable of multitasking\nWork well both independently and with a team\nSelf-motivated \nPhysical Requirements:\nLift up to 50 lbs and push loaded carts to machines or next fabrication department\nStand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 10 hours, with intermittent breaks\nWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria \nParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercises \nBend over multiple times and step up to machine table throughout shift \nTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:\nSteel toed boots\nHearing Protection \nSafety glasses\nCut-proof gloves\nCambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $20.83 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
