This key position will work hand in hand with the Production Manager and Plant Manager, and is responsible for daily production expectations and ensuring all jobs meet Cambria’s quality standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMaintain agreed upon out numbers and metrics by shift and operator\n\nTrain, support and develop employees to maximize their performance\n\nAssign work duties and outline performance expectations to employees\n\nTrack employee performance, attendance, PTO and work hours\n\nAdminister feedback and performance reviews to employees\n\nEnsure safety practices are consistently followed\n\nMonitor operations to enhance productivity, effectiveness and efficiencies with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement\n\nEnsure that FabShop inspection standards, procedures and equipment provide reliable results and prevent shipment of off-quality products\n\nDetermine product conformance to specifications throughout product cycle: incoming, pre-inspection and final product inspection\n\nMake appropriate FabShop-level decisions and participate in regional decisions around product disposition\n\nTrain, mentor and develop employees in the daily use of quality tools\n\nLead and facilitate problem-solving/process improvement activities\n\nProvide leadership for continuous improvement resulting in productivity gains from doing it right the first time\n\nQualifications & Skills:\nAbility to interact with internal and external parties professionally and with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality\n\nStrong team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills\n\nAble to multitask, plan and prioritize workload emphasizing organizational and critical thinking skills\n\nAbility to demonstrate persistent initiative with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and attention to detail\n\nAbility to provide clear direction to others and drive teamwork\n\nAbility to work flexible hours over three shifts as needed\n\nBilingual in English and Spanish is preferred (as applicable)\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation: Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience\nExperience: 3-5years related business experience in a supervisory role\nSystems: Experience with systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Oracle, Concur, Maximo or similar preferred\nManagerial Responsibilities:\nResponsible for hiring, training and performance management\n\nBe a visible leader and provide support to all FabShop employees\n\nProvide oversight and direction to employees and ensure compliance with company-wide initiatives, policies and procedures\n\nProvide a positive and engaging work environment, encourage open communication and maintain positive employee relations\n\nResponsible for ensuring overall output numbers are at agreed upon levels\n\nTravel Requirements: Ability to travel to other FabShop locations as required\nPhysical Requirements: This position will require working on the Production floor to support the completion of daily tasks. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.\nCambria’s starting hourlyrange for this position is $24.00 - $30.75. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
