This position is responsible for staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory and maintaining the sales distribution center in a clean and organized manner.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nOperate forklifts & overhead cranes with precision and safety\nBuild and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks \nMaintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping inventory levels accurate and readily accessible\nConduct daily safety inspections on equipment and report any potential issues\nLoad and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight\nInspect slabs for any material defects \nCollaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals\nOther responsibilities and duties as assigned by management\nQualifications & Skills:\nPrior experience operating overhead cranes, forklift with boom and gator preferred\nA strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety\nExcellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nKnowledge of the use of handheld scanners and proficiency in basic computer applications\nAbility to work overtime as needed\nMinimum Requirements:\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\nExperience: 12 Months experience or training as a warehouse operator\nSystems: Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (preferred)\nPhysical Requirements:\nLift up to 50 lbs.\nPush/pull 100 lbs.\nStand on feet for long periods of time during a shift \nWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria \nParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercises \nWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift \nBend over multiple times throughout shift \nCambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.50 - $24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
