This role is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial polymer 3D printing equipment to support prototyping and production activities.\nThe position plays an important part in ensuring printed components are produced safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment and will bring a practical, detail-focused approach to day-to-day production tasks.\nYou will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support build execution, post-processing, and basic inspection activities.\n\nResponsibilities\nSet up and operate industrial polymer 3D printing equipment\nLoad print files into machine software and prepare builds\nPrepare materials and printers prior to starting jobs\nStart, monitor, and manage print jobs in line with production schedules\nRemove completed builds from machines when printing is complete\nCarry out post-processing activities including support removal, cleaning, sanding, trimming, and bead blasting\nPerform basic visual inspections and dimensional checks using simple measuring tools\nIdentify and report defects, machine issues, or process concerns to engineers or supervisors\nKeep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organised, and safe\nCarry out routine machine maintenance tasks in line with instructions and procedures\nFollow all health, safety, quality, and process requirements\nRequirementsExperience working in a manufacturing, production, or workshop environment\nBasic understanding of additive manufacturing or 3D printing processes\nAbility to follow work instructions, technical procedures, and production plans\nGood attention to detail and quality awareness\nComfortable using computers and machine control software\nWillingness to work hands-on in a production setting\nPreferred Experience / QualificationsExperience operating industrial polymer 3D printing equipment\nExperience with post-processing or finishing plastic or polymer parts\nBackground in engineering, prototyping, aerospace, defence, motorsport, or product development environments\nExperience working within regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing settings\nWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and stock options\nPrivate Medical & Dental\nCycle to work scheme\nLunchtime catering on site\nAbout Us\n The mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
