The role is a key control point within the supply chain, ensuring shipments are processed in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and quality standards.\nThe successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a disciplined approach to process compliance.\nKey Responsibilities\nDispatch Operations\nCoordinate daily dispatch activities to meet customer and business requirements.\nEnsure products are packaged, labelled, and prepared in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.\nDocumentation Control\nEnsure shipping paperwork is complete, accurate, and traceable prior to release.\nPrepare commercial invoices, packing lists, export documentation, certificates, transport documents, and supporting records where required.\nProcess Compliance & Control\nPerform verification checks to minimise dispatch, documentation, and inventory errors.\nEscalate discrepancies, non-conformances, or process deviations promptly.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and warehouse operations.\nInventory Accuracy\nMaintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP/MRP system.\nWork closely with the warehouse team to process stock movements, transfers, and shipment transactions accurately and in a timely manner.\nCommunication & Coordination\nWork closely with Logistics, Procurement, Quality, and Warehouse teams.\nProvide shipment status updates and communicate potential risks or delays.\nRequirements\nExperience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations.\nExperience handling shipping documentation and inventory transactions.\nCompetent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nPreferred Experience / Qualifications\nFormal logistics, supply chain, or warehousing qualification.\nDangerous Goods awareness training.\nKnowledge of export control and customs documentation.\nFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems\nUnderstanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001\nExperience within aerospace, manufacturing, defence, engineering, or another highly regulated industry.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation and stock options\nPrivate Medical & Dental\nCycle to work scheme\nLunchtime catering on site\nAbout Us\nThe mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
