The role assists with day-to-day dispatch activity, shipping documentation, system transactions, and communication with internal teams and external logistics providers.\nThis position is suited to someone who is developing their experience and who can work carefully within defined processes. A strong attention to detail, willingness to follow procedures, and a consistent approach to documentation are essential.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the preparation of daily outbound shipments in line with agreed priorities.\nCheck picked items against dispatch requests, pick lists, sales orders, or transfer instructions.\nSupport packing, labelling, and staging of goods for collection.\nPrepare routine dispatch paperwork such as delivery notes, packing lists, labels, and shipment files.\nCheck documentation for obvious errors before release, including part numbers, quantities, addresses, and references.\nMaintain accurate electronic and paper records in accordance with company procedures.\nFollow standard operating procedures for dispatch, picking confirmation, packing, documentation, and shipment handover.\nEnter or update shipment and stock movement information in the ERP/MRP, courier, or logistics systems.\nRequirements\nExperience in an operational, administrative, logistics or warehouse role\nAbility to handle documents and data accurately.\nGCSE-level English and Maths, or equivalent practical experience.\nGood attention to detail and a careful approach to work.\nAbility to follow instructions, checklists, and defined processes.\nGood administrative and record-keeping skills.\nClear communication and confidence escalating issues.\nBasic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.\nReliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.\nAbility to manage routine tasks while maintaining accuracy.\nPreferred Experience / Qualifications\n\nMHE and warehouse safety training.\nIntroductory supply chain, logistics, or warehousing qualification.\nShipping documentation awareness training.\nPrevious experience in stores, warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or manufacturing support.\nExperience using ERP/MRP, courier, or stock-control systems.\nExperience working in a quality-controlled or regulated environment.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation and stock options\nPrivate Medical & Dental\nCycle to work scheme\nLunchtime catering on site\nAbout Us\nThe mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
