Working closely with the Director, Strategic Analytics & Intelligence, you will analyse commercial, market and operational data to provide clear insights that inform business strategy, investment priorities and growth opportunities. \nThis is a hands-on analytical role requiring strong technical capability, commercial awareness and the ability to turn complex datasets into meaningful recommendations. You will develop analytical models, dashboards and reporting tools, helping establish a robust, data-driven approach to strategic planning across the business.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyse commercial, market and operational datasets to identify trends, opportunities and risks that inform strategic decisions\nDevelop market sizing models, including TAM, SAM and SOM, alongside defence spending forecasts and country attractiveness assessments\nBuild and maintain forecasting models, dashboards and reports covering growth pipelines, win rates, conversion performance and resource allocation\nSupport competitor analysis, portfolio performance assessments and strategic investment decisions through quantitative research\nDevelop clear data visualisations, executive reports and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders\nImprove data quality, reporting processes and analytical frameworks, supporting the development of Cambridge Aerospace's strategic analytics capability\nRequirements\nStrong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, commercial analytics or a comparable analytical role\nAdvanced skills in data analysis and modelling using Python, SQL, Excel or equivalent tools\nExperience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation platforms\nStrong statistical and quantitative skills, with experience in forecasting, trend analysis and interpreting complex datasets\nAbility to communicate analytical findings clearly and translate data into practical commercial or strategic recommendations\nExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with senior stakeholders\nPreferred Qualifications/Experience\nDegree in mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, engineering or a related quantitative discipline\nExperience in market intelligence, strategic analytics, commercial forecasting or business strategy\nExposure to defence, aerospace, technology or another data-intensive industry\nExperience with market sizing, competitor benchmarking, pipeline analytics or investment modelling\nFamiliarity with data automation, data integration and building scalable reporting processes\nExperience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation and stock options\nPrivate medical and dental cover\nCycle to work scheme\nLunchtime catering on site\nAbout Us\nThe mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
