You will join the core missile design team taking ownership of guidance or control and helping shape the vehicle GNC architecture. Your work will influence systems and airframe design and directly determine interceptor performance across demanding flight regimes.\nResponsibilities\nShape the interceptor concept through GNC trades influencing airframe and systems design\nOwn guidance and/or flight control law design from concept through flight test\nDevelop and evaluate guidance strategies and engagement algorithms for high-dynamic interception scenarios\nDesign flight control laws across subsonic, transonic, and supersonic regimes\nPlan and support simulation campaigns, ground tests, and flight trials\nRequirements\nGNC experience in missiles, rockets or high-speed aircraft including evidence of technical ownership for a GNC workstream\nStrong knowledge of control theory and flight mechanics for high-speed applications\nExperience designing missile guidance laws and interception algorithms\nExperience taking GNC work from concept into integration and test incorporating design assurance processes\nExperience in engagement analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, robustness analysis and performance assessment Knowledge of probability of kill (Pk) modelling is a plus\nStrong MATLAB/Simulink skills.
