This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of raw materials, consumables, and finished product.\nThe position plays an important role in maintaining material traceability, stock accuracy, and timely supply to manufacturing activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment and will bring a methodical, safety-conscious approach to daily warehouse operations.\nYou will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and the wider business to support material flow, minimise downtime, and uphold health, safety, and quality standards.\nResponsibilities\nReceive incoming goods, checking deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications\nSafely load and unload deliveries\nPut away stock correctly into designated storage locations, including controlled areas\nPick, pack, and issue materials to manufacturing in line with work orders\nEnsure all goods are packaged and labelled correctly\nCarry out regular stock checks and cycle counts\nReport discrepancies, damaged stock, or shortages\nMaintain accurate inventory records using MRP and/or WMS systems\nUse warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, trolleys, or forklifts\nSupport material flow to minimise manufacturing downtime\nKeep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards\nOperate in accordance with site Health & Safety policies, including COSHH\nReport safety concerns, incidents, or near misses\nSupport continuous improvement of warehouse processes\nCarry out any reasonable tasks required by the Materials Lead\nWork collaboratively within the Warehouse, Manufacturing, and wider business teams\nRequirementsPrevious experience working in a regulated warehouse or logistics environment\nBasic IT skills, including inventory systems, scanners, or spreadsheets\nGood attention to detail and accuracy\nUnderstanding of health and safety principles\nPhysically able to carry out manual handling tasks\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\n Preferred Experience / QualificationsForklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach)\nExperience using ERP, MRP, or WMS systems\nKnowledge of COSHH and controlled materials handling\nUnderstanding of stock control and traceability processes\nWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and stock options\nPrivate medical & dental\nCycle to work scheme\nLunchtime catering on site\nAbout Us The mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
