We are looking for an experienced DSP engineer with an interest in designing and implementing systems using advanced signal processing algorithms to address client needs in the areas of wireless communications, sensors, audio processing, and image processing systems.\nYou will be involved in every stage of our technology development life cycle, from developing proof-of-concept demonstrations for initial sales leads to designing, implementing, and testing innovative new products. The role holder will need to be based in Boston or the surrounding area.\nThe work we have delivered at Cambridge Consultants has led to the design of ultra-reliable communications for satellites, IP block acceleration of Voice Activity Detection and the development of the communication systems of fleet moving bots. \nWhat you’ll be doing:\nArchitect and implement algorithms for high performance hardware, from design through to verification and optimisation.\nDeliver high-quality DSP designs and implementations with minimal supervision.\nContribute to IP development to expand and promote group capabilities.\nContribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and project planning (including proposals and time estimates).\nEngage with clients on a technical level, including pre-contract scoping discussions and “the art of the possible”.\nContribute to the system design of products that span multiple domains and work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nMentor junior members of the team.\nIdentify and raise technical risks or concerns in a timely manner.\nUsing good testing habits: unit testing, system testing, regression testing, etc.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nDemonstrable digital signal processing experience delivering high quality designs and implementations. \nMS/BS in a field related to digital signal processing (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, etc.).\nExperience with scripting and analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.\nC, C++, or Rust programming and software engineering skills.\nVerbal and written communication skills to convey your designs and ideas.\nExperience with mentoring team member/s on a technical project.\nWhat we offer:\nSalary range $150k-190k per annum\nProfit-share bonus plan based on company and individual performance\n23 vacation days for full time employees\nChoice of medical, dental and vision plans\nHealthcare concierge service\nFlexible spending accounts\n401K with discretionary company match\nLife Insurance\n13 weeks fully paid parental leave\nWhy Cambridge Consultants?\nAt Cambridge Consultants, you'll contribute to radical, new-to-the-world innovation that transforms business, society and the planet.
