This is a strategic, hands-on role for a product leader passionate about solving real-world problems through data. \nCMT is looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager I, Machine Learning to help us change the world. No matter your role, your work will matter at CMT. \nResponsibilities: \nUse independent judgment and discretion to own and manage the development and execution of product roadmaps within the DriveWell Fusion \nPlatform, with a strong emphasis on features related to telematics data cleansing, filtering, and advanced signal processing \nSpearhead the design and implementation of AI/ML models and algorithms that generate actionable insights about driving and user behavior, mode of transportation, and other key metrics\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize map data (e.g., OpenStreetMaps) for enhanced location-based services and analysis within the platform. \nServe as the primary point of contact for your product, interfacing with customers, the go-to-market team, and engineering to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring alignment of priority and scope\nDevelop a deep understanding of customer needs and leverage independent judgment to create a compelling vision for addressing those needs through innovative product solutions\nCollaborate closely with engineering and design teams, utilizing your technical expertise to guide the development and delivery of high-impact features within the DriveWell Fusion Platform \nConduct in-depth analysis using tools such as Databricks and Tableau to derive insights that inform product decisions and identify new opportunities \nMaintain a customer-centric, data driven approach, continuously seeking feedback and insights to enhance the user experience and drive product adoption \nEstablish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and expertise on leveraging telematics solutions to achieve their goals \nProactively address emerging challenges and opportunities, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and priorities \nComplete any additional tasks as they arise \nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a technical or quantitative field\n7+ years in Product Management, Data Science, Analytics or related field\nProven track record in big data analytics within the mobility sector, particularly experience and familiarity with telematics and geospatial data\nStrong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders\nExtensive experience in data consulting or advisory roles in front of customers\nWorking knowledge of distributed compute and data pipelines used in training large transformer models.\nStrong project management / program management skills to keep initiatives on track\nAbility to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize efforts against the challenges at hand\nScrappy, positive “impact-focused” attitude: you don’t hesitate to take initiative and address something hands-on\nA passion for using data to make our streets and highways safer\nCompensation and Benefits: \n Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience, and annual performance bonus\nEquity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) \n Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability and parental leave \n Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays \n Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities\nBase Salary Range\nThe base salary range for this position is: $141,100 to $ 176,400.
