No matter your role, your work will matter at CMT. \nResponsibilities: \nSolve complex problems and transform them into business solutions in collaboration with team members \nAnalyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications suitable for implementation \nAble to independently transform complex technical requirements into smaller implementable pieces; able to implement performant software solutions that are maintainable, scalable, reliable and testable\nParticipate in code and design reviews \nTrain and guide junior developers on proper software development procedures and methods\nFollow company defined development and operational standards and processes \nProvide on-call support during business critical emergency scenarios. Support and troubleshoot production issues as needed \nComplete any additional tasks as they arise \nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Computer Science or related field\n4+ years of relevant working experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend applications, services, and APIs\nStrong programming skills in languages such as Python, Golang, and/or Rust\nExperience with SQL databases in a production setting\nExperience working with services in AWS\nAbility to commute to our Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nCompensation and Benefits: \n Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience, and annual performance bonus \nEquity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) \n Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability and parental leave\n Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays \n Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities\nBase Salary Range\nThe base salary range for this position is: $139,300 to $174,100.
