They communicate clearly, uphold high customer service standards, and represent the community with a polished and respectful presence. They demonstrate excellent judgment, remain calm under pressure, and safely de-escalate situations by utilizing the Manager-In-Charge rather than engaging in physical detentions.\nSpecific Duties and Essential Functions\nProvide world-class customer service by warmly greeting customers and making direct eye contact at the store entrance.\nPerform frequent walking tours of the store's front exterior and vestibule no less than every 15 minutes.\nInspect the store's exterior for signs of vandalism or damage, immediately reporting any findings to the Manager-In-Charge and the National Command Center.\nScan the parking lot for suspicious people and vehicles to maintain site awareness.\nDirect vagrants or loitering persons to leave the property and assist with the removal of unwanted persons as directed by the Manager-In-Charge.\nAccompany Front End Associates during cash pick-ups and deposits when requested.\nAccompany closing Store Associates to their vehicles in locations where employee parking is off-site and the shift extends past closing.\nAct strictly as a silent witness regarding shoplifting suspects; officers are not authorized to stop, detain, question, or accuse individuals.\nRespond to medical or fire emergencies by calling 911, protecting life safety, directing emergency personnel, and notifying the Store Manager.\nComplete clear, concise, and legible Incident Reports for any incidents involving customers, property damage, emergency responses, or physical confrontations.\nLicensing\nPossess valid Florida Class D & G security license.\nPossess valid Driver’s License.\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n21 years of age or older.\nAbility to pass background screening and drug test.\nMaintain a complete uniform that is clean, wrinkle-free, fully buttoned and/or zipped, with properly polished shoes.\nSkills Required\nClear verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service and active listening skills.\nAbility to remain calm under pressure and evaluate situations effectively.\nGood judgment and situational awareness.\nProfessional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.\nOther\nMust be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States\nMust be able to successfully complete all training required for the position\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nIndoor and outdoor assignments: Exposure to various weather conditions while patrolling the exterior front of the store and parking lot.\nStationary & Mobile Positions: Ability to remain standing erectly for the entire shift while on post;
