Please see the description of benefits included with this job posting for additional information.\nProduct Analytics Manager - Wakefield, MA (Hybrid)\nResponsible for analyzing the bank’s deposit portfolio, customers and market data to inform strategies to grow and optimize the bank. Working as part of the Product Management team, this position will address a number of critical strategic deposit initiatives with substantial impact to company earnings. As a recognized subject matter expert within the organization, the individual will exercise a wide degree of latitude, independence and discretion. This role will work with key partners across the organization including Data Management, Finance, Retail Administration, Marketing, Technology and Treasury. This position will also engage with external vendors on projects as needed.\nAs a recognized subject matter expert within the organization, the individual will exercise a wide degree of latitude, independence and discretion. This role requires an ability to interpret and analyze complex data / information to identify growth opportunities and define a clear path to achieving the growth objectives. This role will require both analytical and creative problem solving abilities to evaluate issues and identify the best solutions.The incumbent will need to have an ability to adapt quickly to change with a high degree of independent decision making with minimal supervision.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nBuild analytics and reporting dashboards - create and maintain dashboards to report on deposit portfolio performance, including sales, attrition and special topics. Ensure all key stakeholders, including senior management, are kept up to date on business performance. Assist in preparation of materials for key deposit committees.\nCreate deep analytical insights, utilizing statistical and other data analysis methodologies to answer critical questions about the business, both proactively and as requested. Develop new models to optimize the deposit portfolio and participate in larger bank analytics initiatives.\nBuild and/or support business case development for deposit initiatives. These could include new products, support for business line initiatives, operational enhancements, pricing, etc.\nSupport data enhancement initiatives, including but not limited to new data variables, table structures and external data needs, by working with Eastern’s Data Management team\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.\n\n6+ years experience in analytics, financial services especially banking experience a plus.\n\nStrong analytical/statistical skill and knowledge\n\nExperience creating dashboards (i.e. using tools like PowerBI) to share analysis\n\nExperience creating insightful analytics, utilizing data in unique ways and proactively addressing areas for improvement or needing insight\n\nStrong skills with analytics and data tool (ex. SQL, R, PowerBI, Excel, etc.)\n\nHigh degree of organization, ability to prioritize and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and direction\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally based on solid understanding of the business\nSkills/Knowledge\n\nDrives Results: The inherent motivation to provide continuous improvement using both business and analytical acumen while developing optimal strategies and analytics to achieve results. Emphasize strategy while maintaining focus on the details for a successful execution. \nAnalytics: Experience utilizing data to infer trends and insights into decision making. Experience integrating and managing large data sets from various sources.\nQuick Thinking: Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while carrying out multiple projects at any given time. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done\nTeamwork: successful track record collaborating with internal and external teams. Ability to “sell” or gain buy-in across function or organization.\nFinancial Skills: Deep Understanding of key revenue and expense drivers. Ability to model and track financial goals and targets and develop business modes and pr-forma financials.
