Works with other Set Up Technicians and trains on how to set up molds and equipment and learn troubleshooting skills. Follows learning plan and achieves milestones in course completion and skill development.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nFollows assigned learning plan; achieve knowledge and skill levels required according to the milestones laid out in the Manufacturing Learning and Development Program.\n\nSuccessfully completes required courses within the designated time frame\n\nConsistently applies knowledge acquired for position according to required milestones\n\nVisually and manually inspects and listens to machines and equipment in case of damage or malfunctions during daily routing work; learns what to look for.\n\nKeeps and maintains all tools and equipment issued in good condition.\n\nUses hand tools and demonstrates good mechanical skills.\n\nKeeps all work areas around machines and equipment clean and safe; learns and follows good housekeeping standards.\n\nLearn to drive forklift and motorized pallet Jack; demonstrates safety and competence.\n\nDemonstrates willingness and ability to learn Processing and Troubleshooting.\n\nSupports Injection Department as directed by Injection Manager or Shift Manager.\n\nLearns and uses basic electrical knowledge to be able to use an electrical meter and be safe around machines and equipment.\n\nAbility to work in areas with high heat.\n\nMaintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.\n\nExecute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.\n\nFollows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.\n\nPerforms effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.\n\nTakes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.\n\nFollow all department quality standards/criteria.
