This role replaces the former hourly supervisor classification and focuses on hands-on line leadership rather than disciplinary or high-level decision-making authority.\nLLCs serve as the first point of contact for employees on the line and partner closely with Shift Supervisors and Production Managers to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee daily workflow on assigned production line(s).\nEnsure employees are in correct positions and trained for assigned tasks.\nSupport start-ups, changeovers, and line balancing.\nCommunicate production goals and track progress throughout the shift.\nReinforce safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices.\nConduct basic quality checks and escalate issues to supervisors.\nEnsure employees follow SOPs and standard work instructions.\nProvide hands-on training for new hires and temporary employees.\nAnswer questions and assist employees with tasks or equipment.\nServe as the first point of contact for minor concerns or issues.\nComplete basic production logs, counts, and downtime tracking.\nReport attendance issues, performance concerns, or policy violations to supervisors.\nCommunicate shift updates during handoff.\nEscalate safety, quality, or behavioral issues to the Shift Supervisor or Production Manager.\nSupport investigations by providing factual information when requested.\nParticipate in and support Tier 1 meetings, including communicating updates, reviewing KPIs, and addressing action items.\nEnsure accurate timekeeping by reviewing and approving employee punches, corrections, and attendance in Paycom.\nPerform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations and organizational needs.\nQualifications:\n1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience.\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to lead by example and support team members.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nBasic understanding of safety and quality requirements.\nAbility to train others and follow standard work.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nWe offer a wide range of career opportunities with excellent benefits.
