Utilities around the world rely on Cameco's uranium fuel to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power.\nThe Role\nThe Cameco Technical Services team is looking for a student who thrives on tackling diverse challenges in a unique environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Saskatchewan mining operations.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssist with researching, creating, and implementing detailed preventive maintenance plans focused on Reliability and Mechanical Integrity.\nAssist in analyzing equipment failures and determining strategies for preventing future failures.\nReview inspection reports and recommendations to help determine corrective actions related to fixed and rotating equipment.\nCreate reports and presentations to present failure modes, proposed corrective actions, celebrate successes and detail improvements.\nLearn new skills related to equipment reliability and integrity across multiple operations using advanced analytical tools and software.\nWork a two week on/two week off rotational schedule and commute to Northern SK sites by aircraft.\nRequired:\nyou are entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, or a related field; and\nyou must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.\nRecommended:\nexcellent communication, data analysis and compilation, and organization skills; and\nproficient with Microsoft Excel.\nConditions of Employment:\npre-employment substance test.\nCameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
