We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.\nThe Role\nAs part of Cameco’s Supply Chain Management team, you will support our northern Saskatchewan operations by managing inventory materials, analyzing data, maintaining material records, and coordinating site inventory activities. You will work closely with procurement, asset management, and other professional teams to identify opportunities for inventory optimization, resolve material-related issues, and support informed supply chain decisions.\nIn this role, you will:\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to create material masters, resolve issues, and support effective supply chain decisions.\nMaintain master data to ensure that material master information is up to date\nManage inventory materials by analyzing data, generating reports, maintaining records, and coordinating material changes.\nSupport inventory optimization by identifying surplus and obsolete materials, coordinating returns, and recommending corrective actions.\nCoordinate site inventory activities, including material data updates, training, and ongoing inventory management activities.\nRequired:\nyou are currently enrolled in a post-secondary materials management diploma program or pursuing a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting or supply chain management;\nstrong aptitude for computer applications, such as databases or Excel;\nexcellent communication and interpersonal skills; and\nyou must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.\nRecommended:\nknowledge of SAP. \nCameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
