We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.\nThe Role\nAs part of Cameco’s Supply Chain Management team, you will support procurement activities for varying projects, including sourcing materials and services, working within SAP, and interacting with multiple business stakeholders.\nIn this role, you will:\nBe responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the operation of Cameco’s projects.\nVerify contract invoices conflicts and update procurement processes and procedures as required.\nObverse and Support contract negotiations\nDevelop training material for project procurement.\nRequired:\nentering your third or fourth year of a commerce degree program, with preference given to students majoring in supply chain management;\nyou must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco;\nstrong aptitude for computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite ( particularly Excel);\nability to evaluate alternatives, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives; and\nstrong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.\nRecommended:\nexperience with SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, or other ERP and reporting systems; and\nprevious involvement in student organizations, business plan competitions, volunteer activities, or leadership roles is considered an asset.\nCameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
