We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.\nThe Role\nWorking with the reliability and mechanical integrity engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Saskatchewan mining operations by developing robust asset management strategies, assisting with investigations, and analyzing data trends to improve equipment and process reliability.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssist with researching, creating, and implementing detailed preventive maintenance plans focused on reliability and mechanical integrity.\nAssist in analyzing equipment failures and determining strategies for preventing future failures\nReview inspection reports and recommendations to help determine corrective actions related to fixed and rotating equipment.\nCreate reports and presentations to present failure modes, proposed corrective actions, celebrate successes and detail improvements.\nAlthough this position is based in Saskatoon, you may be required to make occasional trips to Cameco’s operations in northern Saskatchewan.\nLearn new skills related to equipment reliability and integrity across multiple operations using advanced analytical tools and software.\nRequired:\nyou are currently a third or fourth year as a university student specializing in industrial/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering;\nyou must return to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco;\nexcellent communication, data analysis and compilation, and organization skills;\nexcellent written and spoken communication skills;\nproficient using Microsoft Excel; and\noccasional travel to our operations including northern Saskatchewan.\nRecommended:\nProficient with Microsoft Office suite\nSAP or Maximo experience \nConditions of Employment:\nPre-employment substance test.\nCameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
