The role will also support the continued development of the 9-8-8 Azure data environment and reporting infrastructure.\nKey Accountabilities\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau and other reporting tools.\nMonitor key service performance indicators and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.\nPerform ad hoc analysis and respond to internal and external data requests.\nUse SQL and Python to query, transform, validate, and analyze data.\nEnsure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting.\nData Operations & Azure Support\nWork with data in the 9-8-8 Microsoft Azure environment, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL/SQL Managed Instance.\nCollaborate with data engineers to support ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and new data integrations.\nMonitor and investigate data quality, completeness, reconciliation, and transformation issues.\nSupport the development and maintenance of data models, reporting tables, and curated datasets.\nAssist with testing and validating changes to data pipelines, business rules, and reporting logic.\nMaintain clear documentation of data definitions, calculations, and processes.\nData Governance & Stakeholder Support\nSupport data quality, governance, privacy, and security practices for sensitive crisis service data.\nWork with internal teams and external partners to understand reporting and analytical requirements.\nPrepare and validate data for funders, provinces/territories, service partners, and other stakeholders.\nCommunicate technical findings and analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCollaborate with research teams, project teams, clinical teams, and principal investigators to meet research goals, evaluate statistical data, and translate findings.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.\n3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data operations.\nStrong proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data analysis and automation.\nExperience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.\nExperience working with relational databases, data warehouses, or data lake environments.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure data services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL, is highly desirable.\nStrong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAssets\nExperience with healthcare, mental health, crisis services, or contact centre data.\nExperience working with JSON, Parquet, APIs, or large transactional datasets.\nFamiliarity with Git, source control, or development/testing environments.\nExperience supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, or unstructured text analysis.\nBilingualism in French and English and/or proficiency in another language.\nLocation\nThis position is based at CAMH's Queen Street West location.\nIf you are interested in this position, please ensure that you apply before 5pm EST of the closing date.
