As of now, Camlin operates in over 20 countries worldwide.\nWe are looking for a Mid-level full-stack Node.js Engineer to join our team developing embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks.\nThe role is primarily focused on JavaScript and TypeScript development, using Node.js to build microservices on our embedded Linux platform and React.js to create web applications that communicate with back-end services through REST APIs.\nYou will design, implement, test, and debug features for IoT embedded devices. You will work independently on well-defined deliverables, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate with senior engineers on more complex system-level work.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain embedded software applications using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.\nDesign and implement features and REST APIs within established system architecture.\nDebug and troubleshoot software issues in Linux-based embedded systems.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and reliable software delivery.\nCreate and maintain unit and integration tests, and support system testing.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering, QA, and DevOps teams.\nParticipate actively in code reviews and apply agreed coding standards and engineering practices.\nEstimate assigned work, communicate progress, and raise technical risks early.\nRequired Qualifications\nPractical commercial experience developing applications with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nExperience building or consuming REST APIs and working with modern web applications.\nGood debugging and problem-solving skills in a Linux environment.\nWorking knowledge of common communication and transport protocols such as Ethernet, serial, and TLS/SSL.\nExperience with source control and collaborative software development practices.\nFluent English, both written and verbal.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with React.js.\nExperience with Docker for containerisation.\nExperience with GitLab CI/CD or a comparable automation platform.\nExperience with Linux system configuration.\nExposure to IoT projects or hardware-software integration.\nFamiliarity with Agile methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nExperience with Rust is an additional
