Make history with us.\nDistribution Order Picker\nDepartment: Warehouse\nPay: $19.55/hour\nStarting times and hours may vary depending on staffing levels, attendance, production schedules, and seasonal business needs, including holidays.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…\nAs a Distribution Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately selected, prepared, and distributed throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to meet productivity goals help keep operations running efficiently and support the timely delivery of products.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO…\nAccurately pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse.\nTransport materials and products from picking areas to designated warehouse locations.\nSort and place materials on pallets according to established criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.\nFollow standard operating procedures while meeting established productivity and quality standards.\nUtilize RF scanners, voice-picking equipment, and other warehouse technology to complete order selection activities.\nApply identifying labels and markings to products and materials as required.\nOperate electric pallet jacks and other approved equipment when certified.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and properly storing supplies.\nKeep aisles, exits, and workspaces clear of obstructions.\nFollow proper lifting and material-handling procedures and promptly report defective equipment.\nAdhere to all safety, food safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment requirements.\nReport workplace injuries, incidents, or property damage immediately to leadership.\nSupport Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).\nPerform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.\nWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…\nWarehouse Operations Team Members\nDistribution and Shipping Personnel\nSupervisors and Team Leads\nSafety and Quality Teams\nContinuous Improvement Partners\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.\nBasic comfort using warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice-picking systems.\nAbility to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.\nStrong commitment to teamwork, safety, and workplace organization.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nFrequently use hands for handling, grasping, and manipulating materials.\nAbility to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance as needed.\nAbility to work while standing and walking for extended periods.\nVisual abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment.\nIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)\nPrevious warehouse, distribution, order picking, or material handling experience.\nExperience operating electric pallet jacks or other powered industrial equipment.\nCertification to operate warehouse equipment.\nExperience using RF scanning devices, voice-picking systems, or warehouse management technology.\nFamiliarity with food manufacturing, food distribution, or consumer goods environments.\nExperience participating in Continuous Improvement or 5S initiatives.\nWork Environment\nWarehouse environment with moderate noise levels.\nExposure to varying operational demands based on production schedules and business needs.\nRequires adherence to all safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards.\nIndividual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
