The Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Controllers organization ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.\nAs an Entity Controller (LEC) within CIB, you are responsible for overseeing activities in legal entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results and statements. The current opening is within GF&BM CIB Controllers in Bengaluru, which is part of the CIB Line of Business (LOB) within GF&BM India.\nJob Responsibilities\nAccounting & reporting for Legal entities in EMEA region (excl. UK) on monthly basis as per US GAAP including month-end close process, parent/child accounting, equity pick up, Capital Hedge, review of inter-entity breaks, and unnatural general ledger balance monitoring\nEnd to end ownership for month end close activities like Fx Trade out, Capital Hedge, EPU, etc.\nQuarterly regulatory reporting as per local GAAP for EMEA entities like Liquidity reporting, VAT return etc.\nLiasing with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers for audit and related documentation.\nSupervise FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging.\nDaily monitoring and control of activities involving reconciliations.\nPrepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items.\nConduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis.\nAnalyze legal entity and line of business results, including variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance.\nPartner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders on revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and work alongside regional controllers to resolve legal entity and line of business inconsistencies.\nDrive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology development teams to achieve sustainable process improvements.\nRequired qualifications, skills and capabilities\nCA, MBA, CFA, or CMA with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.\nDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.\nSolid understanding of industry practices and accounting principles.\nStrong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.\nFamiliarity with process transformation methodologies or automation solutions.\nProactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.\nPreferred qualifications, skills and capabilities\nKnowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial products.\nKnowledge of SAP, Axiom, WDesk.\nKnowledge of Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Python,
