You will continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise, driving meaningful impact across platforms, systems, and teams at enterprise scale.\nJob responsibilities\nApply technical expertise and structured problem-solving to deliver creative design, development, and troubleshooting solutions for moderate-to-high complexity initiatives.\nProvide Storage SRE expertise with deep knowledge of enterprise storage platforms including PowerFlex, Pure, PowerMax, and SolidFire.\nBring hands-on experience with iSCSI, TCP/IP, and NVMe-based storage products and connectivity.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of object storage (e.g., StorageGRID) and file storage platforms (e.g., ONTAP, Isilon); preferred.\nParticipate in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support model for storage infrastructure, primarily covering noon-to-evening hours.\nApply strong operational discipline across Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.\nLeverage Linux and VMware ESX compute environment knowledge to support integrated storage/compute troubleshooting (plus).\nDrive workstreams/projects spanning one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, partnering with adjacent platforms to architect and implement modernization and issue-resolution changes.\nEvaluate upstream/downstream system and data dependencies, advising mitigation actions to preserve resiliency and performance across enterprise infrastructure.\nEmbed reuse-first and AI-assisted automation practices to identify recurring issues, validate remediation options, and ensure changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency/security standards.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience\nDeep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments\nDeep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages\nDeep knowledge of enterprise storage products is a mandatory requirement for this role.\nDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity\nAbility to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations\nAbility to tackle design and infrastructure problems independently with little to no oversight\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across engineering and cross-functional teams\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience working in large-scale, highly regulated financial services or enterprise technology environments\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and modern DevOps or site reliability engineering practices\nExperience with performance engineering, capacity planning, or infrastructure observability and monitoring tooling\nDemonstrated ability to influence technical direction and drive
