You will combine strong Java engineering depth with public cloud architecture expertise to improve developer experience, operational stability, and platform resilience.\nJob Responsibilities\nLead the architecture, design, and implementation of SDLC platform capabilities, with emphasis on SCM systems and workflows\nBuild and review high-quality production code (primarily Java; and Python as needed), ensuring engineering excellence and secure coding practices\nDefine and evolve AWS-based cloud architecture using cloud-native patterns and services (e.g., multi-AZ/multi-region designs, event-driven architectures, autoscaling)\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to enable consistent, repeatable, and compliant platform deployments\nIntegrate and operationalize vendor product within enterprise development environments, ensuring seamless adoption and governance\nDrive automation across SCM workflows to improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and increase developer productivity\nOwn incident response and escalation management for SCM platform services, including post-incident reviews and root-cause remediation\nPartner with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate tools and deliver roadmap outcomes across dependencies\nChampion modern SCM practices and contribute to a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experiencewith strong hands-on expertise in Java\nProven experience designing and operating developer platforms and/or SCM services in a global enterprise environment\nStrong public cloud experience, with deep familiarity in AWS services used for development infrastructure\nDemonstrated cloud architecture experience across resilient distributed systems (multi-AZ/multi-region;
