Ensure all-time “ON” state of production, CERT and testing environments\nWork with databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and write scripts in Python and Bash for automation and operational tasks\nAssist in cost rationalization exercises, liaise with architects to gather and understand technical requirements\nUtilize development tools such as Git/BitBucket, Jira, ServiceNow, and pre-commit hooks for efficient workflow management, configure and implement AWS RDS and Aurora services using Terraform\nMonitor and troubleshoot systems using Splunk queries and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana\nLeverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.\nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience .\nExpertise in administration of AWS Services like EC2, ECS, ELB, S3, Lambda, Postgres RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, CodeDeploy, and CloudWatch.\nExperience with CI/CD best practices and implementations, with tools such as Jules, Jenkins and Spinnaker.\nStrong background in AWS services, infrastructure provisioning, and automation, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.\nEfficient in communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations;
