the work environment to accelerate cybersecurity risk analysis and control assessment, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.\nRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors, serving as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus\nWorks with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability\nActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firm wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle\nDrives reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC/toolchain routines, improving control testing, remediation quality, and traceability/auditability in line with resiliency expectations.\nLeads cybersecurity architecture and design reviews for cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, Microsoft 365, AI-enabled services, and strategic technology integrations.\nConducts threat modeling, attack-surface analysis, and security architecture reviews to identify threats, attack paths, control gaps, and cybersecurity risks.\nEvaluates cybersecurity risks associated with third-party integrations, APIs, application permissions, authentication patterns, data flows, external connectivity, and trust boundaries.\nAssesses existing security controls and develops practical mitigation strategies or compensating controls where identified threats are not sufficiently mitigated.\nPartners with engineering and product teams to translate security findings into actionable remediation plans and drive identified issues toward resolution.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture and 5+ years applied experience\nHands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls\nDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support cybersecurity architecture workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.\nAbility to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption, escalating uncertainty and ensuring outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.\nAdvanced expertise in one or more programming language(s) and/or applications, with advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.)\nAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight\nAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture\nHands-on experience conducting threat modeling, attack-surface analysis, and security architecture assessments.\nDemonstrated ability to identify threats, control gaps, cybersecurity risks, and appropriate mitigation strategies.\nStrong understanding of modern cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, authentication and authorization, application and API security, data protection, logging and monitoring, and trust boundaries.\nAbility to interpret architecture diagrams and data flows, evaluate security controls, and communicate technical risks and recommendations to engineering, product, risk, and leadership stakeholders.\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience securing enterprise cloud and SaaS environments, including assessing architecture, data flows, identity, access, integrations, and security controls across third-party services.\nSecurity architecture experience across major cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, with an understanding of cloud-native security controls and shared responsibility models.\nExperience evaluating SaaS integrations, APIs, OAuth applications, service principals, application identities, and machine-to-machine authentication from a security and risk perspective.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 security architecture, including technologies such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Copilot.\nExperience securing AI/ML and LLM-enabled applications, agents, and emerging AI capabilities, including risks associated with data access, permissions, external integrations, and third-party model dependencies.\nExperience developing security control baselines, architecture standards, threat models, assessment frameworks, and reusable security patterns across cloud and SaaS technologies.\nFamiliarity with established security frameworks and methodologies such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, OWASP, and zero-trust
