They are responsible fordriving business success by managing the accounting, operations, compliance, and shrink and profitability through the highest standards of integrity and ethics.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDrive the business to success by delivering metrics and achieving success on the leaderboard\n\nConnect with customers and drive sales by asking open-ended questions to assess customer needs and make relevant suggestions for the customer's outdoor lifestyle\n\nDemonstrate safe practices and procedures in store by adhering to company standards\n\nDeterminespecialized product needs and services by working directly with customers\n\nSuggest add-on sales to increase average transactions\n\nProvide price estimates for designated installations prior to scheduling appointments\n\nKeep customers apprised of work progress\n\nRecruit and hire qualified associates adhering to established pay guidelines\n\nEvaluate, coach, counseland train associates for success\n\nRecognize seasonality of the business and develop a strategy for merchandising the store for seasonal trends by adhering to company standards and planograms\n\nParticipate in the creation of schedules which are geared to meet customers' needs\n\nInvolvement in the community to promote the brand and stay informed concerning competitors\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Have for the Role:\nBachelor's Degree in Business Managementand/or 3-5+ years retail management experience, preferably big-box format or equivalent combination and experience\n\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age\n\nOutstanding oral and written communication skills\n\nLeadership and interpersonal skills requiredto interact with all levels of the company\n\nExcellent planning and organizing skills\n\nAble to coach direct report\n\nOccasional overnight travel may be required\n\nProficient computer skills to be able to maneuver in a windows-based environment\n\nMust possessthe core discipline of foundational excellence to maintainhigh standardsof facility, sales floor, and back of house standards on a daily basis\n\nAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business\n\nDemonstrate ethical and honest behavior in day-to-dayinteractions and business decisions\n\nMust be flexible and able to react to the needs of the business\n\nMay holdupto 25 lbsand/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices\n\nPeriods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending\n\nGeneral Compensation Disclosure\nThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation earned) is $65,000 - $90,000 or more.
