As a TA, you’ll play a key role in building meaningful relationships with students, helping them stay engaged, organized, and on track throughout the term. This role is ideal for aspiring educators, graduate students, and professionals who want to make a real impact on students from all backgrounds, especially those historically underserved by higher education.\nTAs are integrated into the instructional team and work closely with the Instructor to ensure students receive timely feedback and academic support.\nAcademic Responsibilities and Essential Functions\nSupport and grade assignments for a group of 30-40 students in an 11-week online course\n\nAct as a mentor and coach to students as they learn new skills and develop as professionals\n\nAttend lectures within the 11-week online course\n\nLead discussion sections to reinforce key concepts\n\nHost weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community.\n\nCommunicate with students regularly and respond to messages in a timely manner\n\nHelp students stay motivated and build strong academic habits\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field\n\nExperience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring undergraduate students\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nPassion for student success\n\nComfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing\n\nAvailable to commit 4-6 hours per week, with some flexibility for training\n\nCompensation\n$2,000 per 4-credit course/11 week quarter\n\n$1,185 per 1-2 credit course/11 week quarter\n\nBenefits\nFlexible Scheduling: Work remotely and select the courses and time blocks that fit your schedule.\n\nProfessional Development: Gain experience in live online instruction and student mentoring.\n\nFaculty Mentorship: Collaborate directly with experienced college instructors.\n\nImpactful Work: Support students from diverse and historically underserved communities.\n\nUpcoming 2027 Academic Quarters\nWinter Quarter: January 12 -
