Great for active Military and Family!\nEmployee Assistance Programs\nEarly access to a portion of your earnings anytime through PNC EarnedIt\nPay Rate\nUSD $65,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.Benefits Link\nClick here for more benefits information\nor copy this link: https://go-internal.hcsgcorp.com/l/1036773/2025-07-02/5xbpsq/1036773/17514637576MrQym5A/Employee_Benefits_for_Job_Descriptions__7_.pdf\n*Not available in AR.\nResponsibilities\nManages and supervises the environmental services staff at a single campus according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements. \nProvides leadership, support, coordination and guidance to ensure that quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.\nConsistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company’s Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA.\nThe Manager is also responsible for coordinating and insuring the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work done in the building on varying shifts.\nUtilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions.\nMaintains records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment.\nSecures and assures that all equipment is maintained and in working order.\nMakes sure facility has sufficient janitorial supplies.\nTakes periodic inventories of supplies and materials, trains new employees, and recommends dismissals. \nActs as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff.\nThe Manager must be able to communicate effectively all directives from managers, building occupants and administrators to HCSG staff.\nIs able to perform the job assignments of the day porter, custodian, and floor technician.\nTraining, quality control and in-servicing staff is an essential part of the Manager’s responsibility and includes touring building several times per day to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation purposes.\nThe Manager is a department head in the school and must conduct themselves and their department in a professional manner.\nQualifications\nA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.\nTwo years’ experience in Environmental Services in a school or healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.\nBasic computer skills preferred.\nMust be able to fully understand and complete all In-Services.\nMust be able to be at work on time.\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions.\nAbility to understand and place into action basic infection control procedures.\nThe ability to handle and mix chemicals safely and properly.\nAbility to work all shifts as needed.\nKnowledge of Environmental Services, laundry and floor care program requirements.\nKnowledge of and ability to use all department equipment.\nAbility to maintain records and complete reports as required.\nWritten and oral communication and teaching skills.\nSkill in using public relations techniques (diffusing situations) to promote the Environmental Services, laundry and floor care program to client and residents.\nAbility to interact positively with residents, client and other personnel and the public.\nCompliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.\nMust be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to work around food and cleaning products.\nMust live in service area.
