This is a hands-on role that keeps production moving. You'll pull orders, deliver materials to the floor, stage finished product, and load trucks headed to Cam Tran locations across Canada.\nOur warehouse crew is calm, focused, and takes real pride in a clean, organized space. We're not about rushing the process. We're about doing it right, consistently, on time, every time. If you're the kind of person who notices when something's out of place and can't help but fix it, you'll fit right in.\nWhat we're looking for:\n3+ years of warehouse/forklift experience\nWarehouse experience strongly preferred\nHighly detail-oriented and organized, and you take pride in accuracy\nSteady, reliable, and a strong team player\nComfortable using a computer for inventory and data entry (MRP or RFID experience is a plus)\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stay on your feet through a full shift\nPosition Tasks:\nAbility and flexibility to operate a forklift, enter data into MRP system and work within our production areas independently.\nMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; and recording location of inventory.\nLocates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.\nMaintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. \nDocuments materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. \nPrepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. \nDocuments product shipment by recording units shipped. \nMaintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. \nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. \nWill require heavy lifting repetitively\nRequirements\nSkills Needed:\nDetail oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy for the task at hand (analyzing information). \nWillingness to ask questions, bring suggestions forward and communicate with others in a positive manner. \nAbility to read and follow the direction of standardized work instructions. \nStrong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks (deadline-oriented). \nHighly punctual and a reliable, team player. \nEnthusiastic in learning new things, solving problems and moving forward. \nAble to navigate on a computer, for the purposes of inventory control and data entry.\nQualifications:\nExperience working within a Management Resource Planning System\nExperience with RFID scanning tools an asset\nPrevious Forklift license and or experience \nHas previously collaborated in a team environment, by exchanging ideas and having conversations\nHas demonstrated the ability to be an efficient problem-solver, by thinking on their feet and troubleshooting small problems as they arrive\nAcknowledges that attention to detail is a highly important daily task\nHas mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to apply concepts and provide rational\nPractices safety consciousness and contributes to the prevention of accidents by being aware of hazards and understanding risks.\nIs ambitious and has the willingness to learn and be cross-trained. \nHas a strong work ethic and enjoys tasks that involve physical work and using their hands. \nWorking Conditions:\nWorking in a facility with loud noise, high temperatures, and environmental stressors\nRequired to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to eye protection, safety footwear and high visibility vests\nAdhere to all safety protocols and address hazards \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted\nPhysical activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, crouching, reaching, and grasping as needed\nManual dexterity and specific vision abilities\nStamina required to stand during long shifts\nModerate physical activities - handling and moving materials, use of hands and arms, positioning and operating equipment \nWorking Hours:\nCurrent hours Monday through Thursday from 7:00AM-5:30PM (10-hour shifts), however all shifts may vary dependent on business needs.\nThis position may require extended daily hours or extensive overtime hours without notice.\nBenefits\nCompensation Package:\n Competitive Salary\n Group Health, Dental, and Vision Care Benefit Plan \n RRSP Program\n Monthly Profit Sharing Bonus\n L.E.A.R.N Program Opportunities\n Personal Protective Equipment Allowance\n Opportunities to Advance within the Company\n Employee Engagement Events\nA little fine print:\nCam Tran welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
