This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and building meaningful relationships.\nAs a key member of the Sales Team, the Sales Coordinator will contribute to a seamless experience for clients, guests, and internal stakeholders through effective communication, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will bring professionalism, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset while supporting the continued growth and success of all Canad Inns Destination Centres.\nKey Accountabilities/Responsibilities:\nPerform general office duties to support Sales (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, copying).\nPrepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, event orders and floor plans).\nMaintain accurate profiles and databases of all accounts.\nInput client decision information based on input and direction from the Sales Manager.\nAs a key contact with our clients, use sales techniques that maximize revenue while working with and communicating with guests on event details.\nAnswer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, promotions, restaurants, special events).\nResponsible for answering Destination Centre direct inquiries.\nAssist in the organization, coordination and execution of specific functions handled by the Sales Team (e.g., familiarization tours, client events, sales calls, etc.).\nPrepare and execute weekly distribution to Destination Centres.\nAttend and participate in Sales training and meetings as required.\nPromote awareness of the Canad Inns brand image internally and externally.\nPresent a professional image through effective written and verbal communication skills.\nIn the absence of the Sales Managers, serve as a resource or contact for internal and external stakeholders.\nAssist in market research, identify and communicate trends, major shifts and business focus of key market segments.\nResponsible for office administrative duties including organizing site visits, processing purchase orders, ordering supplies, report generation as needed, and participating in phone coverage.\nHandle select projects as required by Corporate Sales.\nAnswer telephones, qualify lead inquiries, direct calls and relay messages in a timely manner.\nMaintain all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, conference calendars, traces of history and potentials, logs of groups not previously accommodated, and mailing lists.\nQualifications:\nPrevious experience in hospitality, sales, event coordination, customer service, administration, or a related field is preferred. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
