This role is responsible for the delivery of product positioning, marketing content, business development and advisor support initiatives, and product support for Canada Life's segregated fund product shelf.\nWorking closely with Product, Wealth Delivery, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, you will play a key role in enhancing our product offering, supporting advisors with insights and education, and bringing innovative wealth solutions to market.\nWhat you will do:\nPlay a key role in the marketing, positioning, and promotion of Canada Life’s segregated fund products and services. This involves the development and implementation of a strategic product management roadmap, including developing the positioning and ongoing support for new product launches, product enhancements as well as existing high conviction funds.\nServe as an internal subject matter expert for Canada Life's segregated fund offerings and its regulatory landscape.\nProvide product expertise and thought leadership to business development teams and financial advisors.\nCreate and deliver investment commentary, product insights, and market updates on a regular and ad hoc basis.\nStay ahead of rapidly evolving financial services industry trends to ensure our segregated fund offering is effectively positioned in the market.\nSupport new product launches and enhancement initiatives through the product development lifecycle.\nLead and/or participate in advisor presentations, business development training sessions, and internal forums as a product subject matter expert.\nLead and support cross-functional projects and influence business decisions that support product growth and advisor success.\nWork effectively and build strong relationships with a wide range of groups, including Product, Marketing, Wealth Delivery, Legal and Compliance.\nProvide proactive analysis, information and support to the Director, Product Management and other leaders as needed.\nWhat you will bring:\n7+ years of related industry investment experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline.\nCanadian Securities Course, CFA, CIM and/or other industry related qualifications are an asset.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into meaningful advisor-facing content.\nDemonstrated experience supporting product development, product launches and ongoing product management activities.\nExperience conducting market research and competitive analysis.\nStrategic thinker and business acumen with the ability to manage and drive change\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and technology to support business decisions.\nStrong knowledge of segregated funds, mutual funds, investment products and the Canadian wealth landscape.\nWhat will help you succeed:\nA highly resourceful self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities, uncover insights, and independently solve complex business challenges.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.\nConfidence in presenting insights, recommendations, and product strategies to business partners, senior leads, business development teams and advisors.\nCuriosity and commitment to staying current on market trends, product innovations and regulatory developments.\nThe ability to build consensus and drive results in a highly collaborative environment.\nGiven the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London and Toronto.\n-\nThe base salary for this position is between $113,500 - $163,500 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
