In this role you will support all Canada Operations and Business Enablement teams with the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytics solutions ranging from descriptive and diagnostic to predictive.\nThe Analyst, Data & Analytics supports decision making, monitors business performance, and provides actionable insights using analytics and statistical techniques.\nIn this role, you will assist in modelling, analysing, and predicting business processes. You will translate business requirements into data, reporting, and analytics projects, which you will support throughout their entire lifecycle.\nWhat you will do\nTranslate business needs into data requirements, collect, integrate, clean, explore, model, and analyze large datasets and visualize results and present to business leaders\nBuild, implement and maintain data models, custom reports, and dashboards\nWork with large datasets that are not consistent, clean, or fully modelled\nCommunicate effectively and demonstrate critical thinking and business acumen.\nDefine, implement, and monitor metrics and KPIs and ensure ongoing strategic alignment with short and long-term business objectives\nEnable effective, efficient working relationships with business partners\nWork closely with senior leaders to understand business drivers and enable them to make decisions based on data\nSupport projects throughout the entire analytics lifecycle\nPresent and communicate insights and recommendations in a visual and simplified manner\nWhat you will bring\n1-3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification is preferred\nDemonstrated experience in working with data analytics tools (SQL, Python), Databases (SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, Databricks), data visualisation tools (Power BI) with experience at creating interactive dashboards\nAbility to write efficient SQL and Python queries to extract, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources, and to automate data pipelines\nProficiency in Power BI, Data Modelling, Power Query, and DAX\nMicrosoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) certification preferred\nExperience working with raw data and manipulating large datasets\nGood knowledge in data analytics and statistical modelling\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nProven ability to learn quickly and independently and handle multiple priorities in a challenging work environment\nExperience within the Financial Services sector would be an asset\n-\nThe base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
