This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on technical leader who can assess the current state of enterprise applications, design future-state architectures, and implement innovative solutions that leverage modern cloud-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, development methodologies, and will be a driving force behind application transformation initiatives.\nWhat you will do\nApplication Modernization\nEvaluate existing legacy applications and systems to identify opportunities for modernization.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to develop a modernization roadmap that aligns with business goals.\nLead efforts to refactor, rearchitect, or replace legacy systems with modern, scalable solutions.\nAdvocate for the adoption of modern software development practices, such as DevOps and microservices architecture.\nCloud Migration Strategy and Execution\nDevelop cloud migration strategies that minimize business disruption and optimize performance.\nLead and execute the migration of applications to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nEnsure a smooth transition by working closely with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.\nAssess and implement best practices for cloud cost management and optimization.\nSolution Design and Architecture\nDesign and implement end-to-end technical solutions that meet business requirements.\nDevelop solution architectures for cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.\nCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams.\nStakeholder Collaboration and Leadership\nEngage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.\nProvide leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, guiding them through complex technical challenges.\nFoster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement within the technology teams.\nGovernance and Compliance\nEnsure all application modernization and cloud migration efforts comply with relevant governance, security, and compliance standards.\nLead efforts to document technical standards, architectures, and processes to support governance.\nPerformance Monitoring and Optimization\nEstablish performance monitoring solutions to ensure the stability and availability of applications.\nContinuously optimize application performance, security, and cost-efficiency in the cloud environment.\nWhat you will bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).\n5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of experience leading application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.\nProven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.\nDeep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile and DevOps.\nStrong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and API-driven design.\nTechnical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of application architecture, cloud computing, and modern application frameworks.\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems.\nLeadership: Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nAdaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and stay ahead of emerging technologies.\n-\nThe base salary for this position is between $94,800 - $144,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
