clearance• Willing and able to work in an industrial or pilot-plant environment involving exposure to dust, moving machinery, and elevated noise levels.\n• Willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting or handling bulk mineral samples on a sustained basis (up to 20kg).\n• Willingness to work overtime.\n• The candidate must be willing and able to pass a respiratory post-secondary diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in chemistry, metallurgy, mineral processing, materials science, chemical engineering technology or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.EXPERIENCE:\n• Experience operating or maintaining ore comminution, mineral concentration, or mineral beneficiation equipment.\n• Experience monitoring or adjusting operating parameters to meet target product specifications.\n• Experience accurately collecting experimental or production data\n• Experience in at least one of the following: preparing technical instructions or documentation, preparing operating procedures, preparing task hazard analyses, or preparing production reports \n• Experience providing laboratory support.Applied / assessed at a later dateKNOWLEDGE\n• Knowledge of quality-control and sampling practices.\n• Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety requirements for mineral processing beneficiation.\n• Experience operating mineral pretreatment, cracking, or leaching equipment.\n• Experience operating precipitation equipment or processes for the recovery or bulk separation of elements.\n• Experience with comminution circuit design, optimization, or scale-up from laboratory to pilot or production scale.\n• Experience with mineral characterization techniques such as particle size analysis, mineralogical analysis, or assay sampling.\n• Experience operating fixed processing equipment in a mining, aggregate, or mineral processing
