Joining our team means contributing to sustainable growth while developing your technical and leadership capabilities in a collaborative environment.\nJob location: Calgary, Alberta\nWork schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts\nSafety sensitive position: No\nApplication deadline: October 30, 2026\nKey Accountabilities:\nWork collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to identify, evaluate, and progress exploration, development, and growth opportunities across producing properties and emerging areas\nProvide geophysical support to the planning and execution of drilling and completion programs, including horizontal, multi-lateral, stratigraphic, and disposal wells\nSupport asset management activities including land sale evaluations, acquisitions and divestitures (A&D), land expiries, and other business development opportunities\nApply a broad range of seismic interpretation techniques, including seismic modelling and synthetic well ties, horizon and fault interpretation, amplitude and attribute analysis, and time-to-depth conversion, integrating results with geological, petrophysical, engineering, and production data\nDevelop technically sound recommendations and clearly communicate subsurface interpretations, risks, uncertainties, and opportunities to multidisciplinary teams and management\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to other geoscientists and contribute to the continuous improvement of geophysical workflows and interpretation practices\nWhat You Bring to the Role:\nBachelor’s degree in Geophysics or a related geoscience discipline, with 4+ years of petroleum geophysics experience, preferably within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin\nRegistration, or eligibility for registration, with APEGA is required\nProven problem-solving, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\nStrong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to integrate geophysics with economic drivers, focus effort on the highest-value opportunities, and identify technical optimizations that improve project economics\nDemonstrated proficiency with SeisWare is required.
