About the Role
We're looking for aProduct Marketing Manager who can translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that compel buyers and enable sales teams. You'll own product areas and strategic go-to-market initiatives end to end, working in close collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams.
This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role that blends storytelling, market insight, go-to-market strategy and execution to fuel growth and improve conversions.
What You’ll Do
- Messaging and Positioning: Develop and maintain product-level messaging and positioning. Translate what Canary builds into language that resonates with specific personas, tailoring it to SMB, mid-market, and enterprise audiences.
- Sales Assets: Build the sales and marketing assets that clearly communicates Canary’s value and differentiation that resonates for each stage of the marketing funnel. Understand from the Sales and Customer Support teams what’s working and what improvements are needed to improve how we communicate with customers and prospects.
- Storytelling and Content: Craft engaging and persuasive presentations including sales decks, webinars, and presentations in collaboration with growth, partner, and content marketers.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a working understanding of the competitive landscape in your product areas. Know how competitors position, what claims they make, and where Canary wins and loses.
- Data and Analysis: Utilize data to measure the success of go-to-market initiatives, marketing campaigns, and product adoption, reporting on key metrics and providing actionable insights for optimization.
What We’re Looking For
- +5 years of product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong communicator, both internally as well as to the market. You are a strong writer and visual storyteller able to communicate complex topics in a simple, digestible way.
- Comfort working with data and deriving actionable insights - you measure the impact of your work and use that to make better decisions
- Experience bringing new products to market
- A high quality bar for external assets - you know what "ship-ready" looks like and won't submit something half-finished
- Strong cross-functional instincts - you work well with product, sales, and design without needing heavy coordination overhead; you’re able to effectively influence without direct authority
- Preferred: Management consulting experience, hospitality and/or travel tech experience, and multi-product, platform, and AI products experience.
Compensation
Target cash compensation ranges from $140,000 - $175,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid monthly.
This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.
Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.
