helping us deliver high-quality, person-centred care in our communities.\nYou’ll:\nSupport the delivery of high-quality care across our local services\n\nComplete assessments and reviews for the people we support\n\nProvide practical supervision, guidance and support to Care Assistants\n\nWork closely with Care Coordinators to support effective and realistic care rotas\n\nCarry out regular needs and risk assessments, including ongoing reviews\n\nParticipate in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users’ needs\n\nShadow new Care Assistants to support their competence and confidence\n\nObserve and evaluate care practice as part of routine supervision and where additional support is needed\n\nProvide personal care with dignity and respect\n\nComplete essential administration relating to care delivery and service quality\n\nYou’ll spend much of your time out in the community across East and North East Manchester, while also supporting with office-based duties from our Tameside office when required.\nt of office-based administrative work.\n What we’re looking for:\nWe’re looking for someone with previous experience in care who is ready to take on more responsibility and support both our care teams and the people who use our services.\nIdeally, you’ll have experience of:\nCarrying out initial risk and needs assessments in people’s homes or other care settings\n\nWorking with service users, families, carers, advocates and healthcare professionals\n\nSupporting safe, high-quality and person-centred care\n\nSupervising, supporting or mentoring Care Assistants\n\nCommunicating professionally and compassionately when coordinating care and reviewing individual needs\n\nYou’ll also need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as regular travel between our branches and services is an essential part of the role.\n Here’s what makes us different:\nLocal travel only -
