This role is the “engine” that helps product teams onboard to our cloud, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational readiness practices, ensuring services can be deployed, supported, and run reliably in production.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Work embedded with product teams to enable safe and repeatable deployments from DEV to PROD, including application releases and infrastructure changes. \n Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles and ensure teams follow standard guardrails. \n Develop and maintain application-specific Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy services (containers/VMs, secrets, load balancers, certs) using reusable platform components. \n Act as first responder for production incidents for the applications you support; drive operational concerns to closure in partnership with SRE/ROC and development teams. \n Improve operational efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and contributing to self-service frameworks for developers. \n Identify gaps and drive improvements across reliability, scaling, automation, and cost optimisation for your product area. \n Partner with architects/platform teams to review architectures and ensure solutions meet cloud readiness / operational standards. Education / Background (Expectation) \n B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science\nProduct company experience preferred; fintech/domain experience preferred Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)\nHigh ownership, clear communicator, comfortable working embedded with product teams.\n GCP (3+ years) in production environments.\nStrong Kubernetes / GKE experience (running & supporting production workloads).\n Docker + container build/release patterns (hands-on).\n CI/CD with GitHub Actions (build + deploy + troubleshooting).\n Terraform (IaC) for infra delivery.\n NGINX + Helm (Ingress basics, chart usage/standardisation).\nSolid cloud networking (VPCs, firewall rules, ingress/egress).\nGood-to-Have Skills\n\nCloudflare exposure \n Observability tools: Prometheus / Grafana / Dynatrace (or similar) \nArgoCD / GitOps tooling experience \n Scripting (Python) \n Java / Spring Boot support experience \n Exposure to AI tools / AI agents to improve site reliability\nStatement to Third Party Agencies\nTo ALL recruitment agencies: Candescent only accepts resumes from agencies on the preferred supplier list.
